The best part about Anchor Shores is that Whidbey Island has some of the lowest rainfall in Washington State, making any time of the year right for a Pacific Northwest vacation. While many parts of Washington experience annual rainfall of 30” or more (220” in the Olympic Rain Forest), Whidbey Island will enjoy less than 20” of rain each year since it is located in the Olympic Mountain Rain Shadow.
We do have a no pet policy, including hypoallergenic animals, and this is especially important due to severe allergies in our family.
Why not take in the ocean and the views for a most relaxing and memorable vacation?

Guest accessGuests to Anchor Shores have the entire home to themselves. This includes the private hot tub on the deck facing the oean.
Additional notesPlease note there are two staircases leading upstairs to the bedrooms. One is plenty wide with a landing on the way up. The other is a unique spiral staircase which is fun, but could be dangerous for toddlers for potential falls or bumping heads.
Additionally, while we are right on top of the ocean and the bulkhead, scaling the bulkhead for direct access to the beach should be done with caution and is reserved for those who are very nimble. There is a public beach access about 1/2 mile to the south which has very easy access to the beach.
